Eclipseでpackage-info.javaが生成できないバグ

先日 お伝えしたpackage-info.javaなのですが、実はEclipseのClass生成ウィザードでは生成できません。

Eclipseにもbug報告されています。 2005.02.22に報告されていますから随分しつこく残っていますね。 そもそもpackage-info.javaの仕様はJavaSE5.0(2004.09リリース)で追加されたものですから、 いまだにウィザードが対応できていないのは不思議な気もしますね。

仕方がないので私はTextファイルの作成でpackage-info.javaを作るか、 すでにあるpackage-info.javaをコピー&ペーストするかしています。 早く対応してくれないかなぁ。

    私的にはClassでは無い物をClass生成ウィザード
    で作るのはおかしいかなぁっと。

    新規ファイル作成からpackage-info.javaを
    作成すれば良いかなぁっと。

    案外どっかにプラグインとしてウィザードが
    あるかもしれないけれども

    ふむー。なるほど。確かにClassではないですね。.javaファイルを作成するならClass生成ウィザードと思い込んでいましたが、Classではないというのは確かに。

    Bugの報告欄には"A extra wizard seems to be overkill"→「専用ウィザードってのはオーバースペックな実装なんじゃないの」ってな会話がされていますね。

    packageの生成時にチェックボックスにチェックを入れると一緒に生成してくれるとか、そういう機能性ぐらいはあってもいいのかな、と思う次第です。
