明日はWindows Internet Explorer 8のローンチです。
今バージョンからAcid3テストにも対応し、ようやくWeb標準に準拠したバージョンとなります。
完全な普及には今しばらく時間がかかると思われますが、最新ブラウザにおける表示の差異はほぼ無視できるものとなり、Web開発者の負担はこれから減っていくでしょう。
また、SilverLlightを使用した非常に柔軟なスキンおよび拡張機能の機構を持ち、ほぼ無限のカスタマイズを行えるのも魅力の一つとなっており、β版の現時点でも多数の拡張機能が公開されています。
