[日常]VMware Server 2.0をインストールしてみたよ

業務系に転向して、サーバ運用についての知識が無い事を痛感しています。
これを読んでおいた方がいいよ！って書籍無いでしょうか？

……と思ったけど、自分の場合手を動かした方が覚えが早いので、
サーバを構築して遊んでみようかと思います。

で、VMware Server 2.0をダウンロードしてきました。

VMware Server 2.0のインストールが完了すると、
デスクトップにVMware Server Home Pageが出来ます。

どうやらクライアントはWebアプリケーションの形式で提供されている様です。
使用するにはLogin NameとPasswordを入力してログインしなければいけません。

2時間経過……

最終的にWindowsへログオンしているIDとPasswordが必要でした。
Passwordを設定していないIDではログイン出来ないのですね。
