Java SE の Patch-in-place

JRE の更新でいつのまにか自動的に旧版が削除されるようになっているの続き。

調査したら Java™ SE 6 Update 10 からの変更らしい。

そういや Java™ SE 6 Update 13 が release されていました。

これらの security fix が行われているようです。

Solution 254571: Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) with Processing Image Files and Fonts may Allow Privileges to be Escalated
Solution 254608: Security Vulnerabilities in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) With Storing and Processing Font Files May Allow Denial of Service (DOS)
Solution 254609: A Security Vulnerability in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) HTTP Server Implementation May Allow a Denial of Service (DoS) Condition on a JAX-WS Service Endpoint
Solution 254610: A Security Vulnerability in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Virtual Machine With Code Generation May Allow Escalation of Privileges
Solution 254611: Multiple Security Vulnerabilities in Java Plug-in May Allow Privileges to be Escalated

ということで、update しておきましょう。

また、自動更新に頼っている人は default の月単位の確認では長すぎるため、確認期間を短めに設定しておきましょう。

Internet is written with the capital letter in a sentence, by the way. And hundredths are written not with a point but with a comma. This is according to the standard. And actually everything is very good..!
