VB6 サポート終了

いよいよ今年の4月に VB6 の延長フェーズが

終了します。

Visual Basic 6.0 ファミリ製品のライフ サイクル ガイドライン

→Visual Basic 6.0 は 2008 年 4 月 9 日以降サポートされなくなります。

ということで、保守契約とか機能追加の案件をどう対処していこうか頭の痛いところですね。

取りあえず、こんな感じになるんでしょうかね？

VB6 によって開発したソフトウェアに関しては、現在時点までの Windows のバージョンまで動作可能。

ただし、機能追加はサポート終了以降は受け付けない。

不具合発生時に、対応できない場合が起こりえることを承知してもらう。

C# 版への移植は、特別に値引きする^^;

今後、システムの保守対応とか、どうしていこうか？と考えるところはありますね。
VB6 の Runtime　については、今後もOSのサポートでサポートするようですが、現場としては頭が痛いです orz

実行環境を温存する必要性はあると思うのですが、この環境でトラブルが発生した場合はどうにもなりませんから、やはり怖いですよね。

ウチの会社は、客先に Microsoft からのサポートが終了したことによる当社の対応や、今後起こりうる可能性のある最悪のケースに関する説明文章を作って配布しようかなー、なんて思っているところです。
