フォト ギャラリーの Tag Suggestionsの削除

　私は全く写真をタグで管理していないのだけど、Live Photo Galleryを作成しているチームのBlogにTag Suggestionsの削除方法が載っていたので紹介。Tag Suggestions（Suggestion: 提案）ってのは、タグを入力しようとしたとき入力候補を表示してくれる機能です。

Tag Suggestions（こんなタグ付ける奴いるのか）

　スペルなどを間違ったタグを作ってしまった場合、ずっと間違ったタグが提案されることになります。これはむかつく！　こういう場合にタグ候補を削除する原始的な方法が書いてありました。レジストリをいじるので操作には十分に気を付けてください。

  1. Windows Live フォト ギャラリーを終了します。
  2. レジストリ エディタを起動します（Windows+Rキーでregeditと入力）。
  3. 以下の場所を参照します。
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live\Photo Gallery\Library\PreviewPane\LabelAssignment\MRU
  4. ウィンドウ右側にタグが表示されるので不要なものを削除や編集します。
  5. レジストリ エディタを終了し、フォト ギャラリーを起動します。

　ちなみに、Windows Live フォト ギャラリーではなく、Windows フォト ギャラリーのタグ候補は上のレジストリ エディタのように別の場所にあります。あとこれで写真の間違ったタグが変更されるわけじゃないので注意してくださいね。タグの情報自体は写真ファイルに埋め込まれています。
